Who we are

What we collect, and why

  • Business contact details we find in public. If we email your business first, we use the business email address published on your own website. We keep the business name, that address, the page we found it on, and the dates we emailed you. We use them to send at most two short emails and to make sure we never email you again if you say STOP.
  • Email activity. We send and receive email through Resend. Our outreach emails use Resend's open and click tracking, which records whether an email was opened and whether a link was clicked. We use this only to judge whether our emails are being delivered and read.
  • What you send us. Your replies, and any details you give us for your pack (business name, website or Google Maps link, how you take calls, services and suburbs).
  • Payments. Payments go through Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe collects your email, phone number, card details, cardholder name, country and postcode, plus the business name, website and call-setup questions on the checkout page. Stripe handles card data under its own privacy policy, and we never see your full card number. If you choose Stripe's "Link" option, Stripe saves your details for faster checkout.
  • Website visits. The site is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics. That gives us aggregated counts (pages viewed, country, device type and referring site) without advertising cookies. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google.
  • Interest-list signups. If you submit an expression-of-interest form, we store your email, your answers, and any UTM source tags so we can contact you about that list and see which channels brought you. Consent is collected on the form.

How we write your pack

We draft packs with AI writing tools, using your public website, your public Google listing and what you send us. We don't put card or payment details into these tools. These are third-party AI writing services.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run LocalePulse: Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Vercel (website hosting and analytics), plus the AI writing tools mentioned above. We don't sell or rent your information.

If you register interest on our site (for example the small-business marketing follow-up list), we keep your email and the answers you send, and we may email you about that product or related updates. You can unsubscribe any time. We only add you to an interest list when you ask us to.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them for tax and accounting. We keep other records only as long as we need them to run LocalePulse, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time. STOP and unsubscribe requests are kept permanently so we never contact you again.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any email, or email hello@localepulse.com with "STOP", and we'll stop within 5 business days (usually 1).
  • Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at hello@localepulse.com.
  • If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, email us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
